Test Drift Output
The form will look like -

•A : the details of what happened during the actual test drift -
oBearing of the test drift
oDistance during the test drift
oSpeed of drift during the test drift
•B : the graphic shows the direction of drift
•C : the details of the entire drift period
oTotal drift distance which considers the Speed Factor
oTotal drift speed (it will be the same as the speed of the test drift)
oBearing of the total drift (it will also be the same as the drift bearing for the test drift)
•D : Datum position coordinates in each of the coordinate formats
•E : We only calculate the Rapid search area when we do a test drift as a test drift is done as soon after the time at LKP as is possible, and also, as we do not consider wind at all there is no divergence due to wind which is required to calculate an Expanded Search pattern.
oThe dimensions of the search area
oThe period of time the casualty should be in the search area
othe corners of the search area
•F : you can change the coordinate format for the corners of the search area by selecting the required format
•G : GPX button - click on this button to create a GPX file to send to the rescue vessel
•H : the address at which the Random Datum Points KML file is saved
•I : the address at which the GPX file containing the search area is saved
